FAQs

1) How do we enure the sustainability of our process?

Sheeps are not sold for for their skin in Patagonia. This is why we only work with local farmers that comply with their animal welfare policies that prevent animal abuse, cruelty and unethical sourcing, Nampatagonia only uses the sheepskin of sheep raised within the meat industry. This means that that sheepskin becomes a by-product, helping local farmers and artisan raise the value added of their product. We also make sure the sheepskin is treated in the country to limit their impact on the environment through excess in the animal agriculture industry. To ensure this, we only partner with small local farms and  tanneries  based in Patagonia so we can trace our product and be sure of the ethics.

2) Do Nampatagonia fit true to size?

One of the most popular questions asked when it comes to us is what size should I buy? The composition, shape and style can make it tricky to decipher, so an easy size guide was an essential for our NamPatagonia buyer’s guide. However, considering the shape and comfort slippers should bring to you, we recommend selecting one size bigger than your regular one.

3) Do NamPatagonia have a kids range?

Not yet but we very much welcome your views on this! :)

4)Can I wash my NamPatagonia slippers?

Definitly. We recommend to wash them by hand or in the washing machine (wool or delicates cycle). Hang outdoors without direct exposure to the sun. Use neutral soap. Once the wool is washed but still wet, we recommend to brush them with a stiff brush.
